Asian Inspired Appetizer Party




TO BE PASSED

• Shiitake mushroom cakes dabbed with Chinese black bean aioli

• Chinese sausage, bok choy and hoisin “pizzas”

• California crab cakes with ginger-lime sauce

• Thai sticks: Crispy wands filled with pork, shrimp and vegetables and passed with tamarind dip

• Chicken satay with peanut cilantro dip

• Singapore sweet chile prawns

• Ahi tuna poke on sesame brioche


FROM THE APPETIZER BUFFET

• Boneless bites of duck in ginger-orange sauce served hot from a chafing dish with finger rolls

• Five spice braised pork, served with rolls and kim-chi aioli – scezuan peppercorn mayonnaise

• Cloudear mushroom salsa with assorted wonton and vegetable chips

• Seaswirls with ginger garlic dip: nori filled with a puree of chicken and miso, rolled, steam and sliced into black spiraled rounds
