Comfort Zone--An American Menu

We went coast-to-coast with this menu, celebrating the culinary richness of the American table, drawing on recipes and ideas of friends and family. Please check terms for costs.


OYSTER BAR

Oysters two ways, barbecued or served freshly shucked at the table with cocktail sauce, lemons and hot sauce.

PASSED APPETIZERS

Maple glazed baked ham-stuffed biscuits with apple butter.

Crab cakes dabbed with remoulade sauce

Fried chicken like my Grandmother's, with pan gravy and mashed potatoes

Bourbon glazed, grilled loin of pork

Red beans and Rice

Red, white and green cole slaw

Collard greens spiced with Tabasco

Corn and chile studded corn bread

FROM THE DESSERT TABLE

Strawberry short cakes with lightly whipped cream

Dark roasted decaf and regular coffee, teas, cream and sugar
